Color Services
At FRETS, we believe great color should feel customized, transparent, and stress-free.
Instead of charging separately for every bowl, toner, gloss, or technique, our color services are structured in tiers based on the amount of time, customization, maintenance, and overall work needed to achieve your result. This allows our stylists to fully customize your service without sacrificing the integrity of the outcome or putting guests in the position of declining something necessary to achieve their desired look.
We never want guests to feel surprised by hidden add-ons or “nickel and dime” pricing at checkout. Most of our color services already include toning, glossing, and finishing work because we believe those steps are part of creating beautiful, complete results — not optional extras.
Our tiered system also makes booking easier. Instead of needing to know technical salon terminology, guests can simply choose the level of maintenance or transformation that best matches their goals and visit frequency.
Every head of hair is different, and additional charges may apply for exceptionally thick or long hair, major corrections, or services requiring significantly more time and product. When in doubt, we always recommend booking a consultation so we can create the best plan for your hair and your budget.
Maintenance Color
$140+
Designed for guests maintaining their current look every 6–8 weeks with minimal placement and subtle refreshing.
Recommended for:
- root retouch with glaze to refresh ends
- gloss / glaze refresh
- grey coverage
- money piece or hairline touch-up
- mini foil refresh
- toner refresh
- subtle brightness around the face

Focused on maintaining your current look with minimal placement.

Elevated Color

Designed for guests refreshing dimensional color approximately every 8–16 weeks with added brightness, depth, and customized placement.
Recommended for:
- full highlight
- partial balayage
- lowlights and partial lowlights
- root retouch with highlights
- root melts
- dimensional maintenance
- soft lived-in refreshes
- vivids color refresh and root retouch
Includes dimensional placement and light custom blending for a natural, elevated result.
Best for guests wanting more than maintenance color, while still maintaining their overall look between larger appointments.

Signature Color

Designed for guests wanting fuller brightness, advanced dimensional color, or lower-maintenance blonding designed to last several months between appointments.
Perfect for guests who typically visit only 2–3 times per year and want a more transformative, longer-lasting result.

$300+ 4 hrs, additional $80 per hour if service is longer than 4 hours
Designed for major color changes and transformative sessions requiring multiple techniques, corrective work, or extensive blonding.

Utilizes multiple techniques including, filling, color remover, balayage and custom blending to achieve a complete transformation.

Vivids/Fashion Color
$240+
Designed for guests looking for bold, creative, or fashion colors including reds, coppers, pinks, blues, and custom vivid tones.
This service is fully customized and may include pre-lightening, multiple color applications, and advanced techniques to achieve your desired result.
A consultation is required prior to booking and can be completed in person or virtually. Pricing and timing will vary based on starting hair color, condition, and overall goal.
Express Root Retouch
$80+
Designed for guests maintaining their color between appointments with minimal regrowth (typically 4–8 weeks or less than 1 inch). This service focuses on quick, efficient root coverage to keep your color looking fresh and consistent.
Includes rough dry finish. Additional charges may apply for length, density, or extended regrowth.
Gloss / Glaze

Refresh tone, add shine, and reduce brassiness. Blow dry not included.
Express Grey Blending

A subtle grey blending service designed to soften and blend grey hair for a more natural, low-maintenance result. Perfect for guests wanting a softer grow-out and less noticeable regrowth rather than solid coverage.

Long Haircut with Color
$35
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE A HAIRCUT SERVICE APPOINTMENT, WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL AT LEAST 12 HOUR BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE A COLOR SERVICE APPOINTMENT, WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. FOLLOWING THESE CANCELLATION PROTOCOLS ALLOWS US TO OFFER APPOINTMENTS TO OTHER CLIENTS. FAILURE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE WITHIN THESE TIMEFRAMES WILL RESULT IN A CANCELLATION FEE CHARGE OF 50% OF THE SERVICE PRICE. NO SHOWS WILL RESULT IN A 100% CANCELLATION FEE.
