Meet Stephanie, co-founder, licensed barber and stylist at FRETS Barbershop & Salon. With 20 years behind the chair, Stephanie has done a little bit of everything in the hair industry, but cutting is where she found her specialty. She works with both men’s and women’s hair, focusing on cuts that work for the person wearing them. For women, she loves natural, lived-in hair and cuts that are wearable outside of the salon. On the barbering side, she specializes in men’s cuts, fades, beard work and traditional shaves. Stephanie helped create FRETS with a simple idea: the craft should matter, people should be treated well and great work doesn’t need an ego attached to it. She’s a Pensacola local, a mom and military spouse, and has spent much of her career not only behind the chair, but working in education, training and salon and barbershop operations. Co-founder.
